HELPFUL REMINDERS

    

Below are a couple of helpful reminders to keep our community a clean, safe and fun environment.

 

TRASH PICK UP

Trash Pick up is every Monday and Thursday.  Monday you may put no more then 3 items out for bulk trash. All trash must be in cans neatly piled along the curb line not obstructing pedestrians. Contact the Borough for information on disposing of paints and other potential hazardous material.

 

 CURFEW

 Colwyn Borough has a curfew ordinance (Sec 50-2) which says no person under the age of 18 years old shall remain in or upon any public place or establishment between the hours of 10:00pm and 6:00am of the following day except that on Friday's and Saturdays the hours shall be from 10:30pm to 6:00am the following day unaccompanied by a legal responsible adult.

 

 WALKING ON ROADWAY

 Pennsylvania state law (Pa C.S.A. 3544A) It is unlawful for any pedestrian to walk along on a adjacent roadway. Fines & Costs for Violators exceed $100.00 per incident.

 

DOMESTIC ANIMALS

  Dogs, cats and any other legal domestic animal shall not run at large without being secured to a leash accompanied by a responsible person. Animals must be vaccinated and licensed in accordance with all Local and State Laws.  Remember to care for your pets during inclement weather.
